Black wiper arms

Does anyone use anything on black
wiper arms to keep them black?


I was thinking of using WETS but
not sure if it will dry white. Any thoughts
or help would be appreciated.

Mine are painted so I use the same sealant INUSE on the car.

I use Megs Hyper Dressing on the wiper arms along with the rest of the windshield cowl. Apply it with either a terry, microfiber, or foam applicator.

I've used Silk Shine and VRP by Chemical Guys with great results long term. The VRP being a little better longevity wise.

When doing cars, I use UTTG v1, so WETS should work very well.

Nope, but I personally prefer the ease of use, look, and durability of Klasse High Gloss Sealant glaze. But if you have WETS then I would use it since thats what the product was designed for

On mt 23 year old Explorer all the factory coating had come off so I was about to powder coat them.

But then I got a close out notice from Rock Auto and just bought two new arms and replaced them. So I'll start again from new. I wash them when I am washing the vehicle and then use the same wax I am using on the paint. It kept them looking great for the first twenty years so why change.

WETS works well. No issues. May take a couple coatings over the next few weeks but it works well. The arms on our van were fading to the point that they turned gray/marbled and looked really bad. I was prepared to replace them but thankfully saved them with WETS. In my case 2 coats then let them go for a week, couple more coats and then another week and a final hit with WETS and over time they were saved. Now I just simply coat them once a month if that and they look great.

I'm sure there are better options and I do have some WETS left but am actively looking and seeing if there's something else I may try in its place.

I would just take them off, sand if needed and respray them.
