This Thursday night, June 30th - it's your chance to test out and use all the tools everyone is talking about! We don't have any rules where we only show you one brand of tools. Nope... at Autogeek we're fair and balanced.

YOU get to use all the tools and make up your own mind. This is also the benefit to attending my Competition Ready 3-Day Detailing Class. You get to use ALL the tools and make up your own mind which tool is best for you. That makes Autogeek unique and sets us apart.

This Thursday night you can use your choice of ANY of these tools or ALL of them!

Personal comment...
I've seen this car in person and the paint is in dire need of having the swirls, scratches, water spots and oxidation removed.

No doubt. At least you're a member of the forum where we actually do cool projects like this an share the fun with our members.

Count me in Mike!

Sounds good Frank. We also have a Donzi Day Cruizer coming in and an engine detail on a 1937 Chevy Coupe, so LOTS to do this Thursday night.

With the GTO receiving GM corporate sanction to receive their full-sized car's 389 V-8 Oldsmobile followed suit and replaced the 4-4-2's standard 330 CID with the new 400 CID (6.6 L).

The definition of "4-4-2" was then restated as referring to

400 cubic inches
4 barrel carburetor (a 515 cfm Rochester 4-Jet)
2 exhausts.

Output for the big engine rose to 345 hp and 440 lb·ft

The standard transmission became a three-speed manual with the four-speed as an option, and Oldsmobile's two-speed Jetaway automatic transmission was added as an alternative.

Dang! That's a lot of tools participants can use.

I'd get 2 buffers and start using them with each hand HAHAHA!

Variety is the spice of life right?

In the past I've kept the focus on a single tool set, a single pad line and a single product line but sometimes I like to let people use what they're interested in or let them compare tools that they are interested in.

I show them all and Autogeek sells them all so it's win/win for us.

Perhaps a list could be posted on the wall of the Show Car Garage for participants (ME) to check off after usage.
