Not 4 "Detailers" - Mobile Wash-N-Wax's Only :)

The title is for kicks.... I put together a small tutorial after a good friend sent me a bunch of samples to test!! This process takes the fun out of detailing, but it sure kicks some A$$! You might as well call me a ??? ....

Everyone knows I can throw down with the PC/UDM... But I thought I would go back to the grass roots but with simplified technology!

LOL it's funny you call me on that... I use more to keep the bristles from scratching :) This car barely has any swirling and still doesn't due to me being extra careful :p

Non-AG... Heck I really don't know who makes it. It showed up in the mail with instructions on how to use it :)

As far as the Surf City ehuth1 I think the tire looks awesome. But I'm from the school that the tires should enhance the car and by no means take attention away from it. I think that's what solvent based dressings do since they are sooooo shiny. I want people to notice the car and not the tires first. That being said a lot of people don't think their car has been cleaned unless the tires are ultra shiny so you have to give the customer what they want. Unfortunately I think they think like this because they are from the Armour All generation.

Also I have seen where it does on some tires, especially really clean ones, longer for the Surf City to soak in, but I noticed that with all my water based dressings. I don't see it with the solvent based ones but again I just don't like to use them.

With all that being said man you made that thing shine and in only 25 minutes! You rock! You look like you are having great success with the brush and as long as you keep plenty of foam you don't have to worry about inducing swirls right? Again another great job!

Wolf I appreciate your input, and I do love the matte finish on my all black truck. It's just on some vehicles (white) especially the tires really do need alittle bling to amp up the color. I can't stand sling so rest assured I'm not like the monkeys at the dealership that slap 2" off it on there :) I put a nice even coat and it will dull itself out in about 30 minutes give or take.

I'll give the surfcity another try on my own tires and take a pic. I've just gotten use to gels and solvent gloss :) I just tried some DP Tire Gel on my trailer tires and boy do I like that stuff! Smells awesome too!

Hey another thing I found with the Surf City is if you put it in a spray bottle and use about 4 sprays on the Foam Flex applicator per tire it goes on a lot better. Since it's so thin I had trouble gauging the right amount when I was pouring it on the applicator not to mention I was wasting some.

We couldn't agree more! On Beyond Black, I think you guys may have been using a refill size. The standard size is a 24oz spray that has a customized atomizer, and all the other sizes are refills for the spray. We appreciate everyone trying out and using our products. Happy detailing, Steven.

Thanks for the input SCGT! I went off praise and just bought the refill due it not being much more $$$. I will change my method of application and try again.
