I'm sure others will reply, but for now I will give my 2 cents. As I understand it, Fixer is a one-step polish. To me this means that it will act accordingly to the pad it is used with. So if you need more cut, use your Orange pads. If you need less cut, use your white pads. Essence is an all-in-one, so again if you need more cut orange pads, less cut white pads. Both fixer and essence can be used with your microfiber pads. Fixer on microfiber cutting disc will be your most aggressive setup. The best thing to do however, is perform test spots. Use varying pads and your two products to see the results. YMMV, hope this helps!

Ok, so if I am wrong, someone please correct me. But, here is what I think is the least aggressive to most aggressive for what you have.

1. Carpro Essence used with Lake Country FLAT WHITE 5.5" pad.

2. Carpro Essence used with Lake Country FLAT ORNAGE 5.5" pad.

3. Carpro Essence used with Megs microfiber polishing disc 5.25"

4. Carpro Essence used with Megs microfiber cutting disc 5.25"

5. Carpro fixer used with Lake Country FLAT WHITE 5.5" pad.

6. Carpro fixer used with Lake Country FLAT ORNAGE 5.5" pad.

7. Carpro fixer used with Megs microfiber polishing disc 5.25"

8. Carpro fixer used with Megs microfiber cutting disc 5.25"

Typically, your 3" pads are going to be more aggressive because they are smaller. What machine are you using these with?

I can't comment on the carpro gloss pad because I have never used those. But, the information provided by the Autogeek store says that they should be used at the very end to enhance the shine of the car. As for me, I do as many stages as the paint calls for. I know that is not a lot of help, but that's why I said to do test spots. My car is a 2015 VW pure white GTI. My paint is very hard, my wife has the same car in black and yet her paint is still very hard. Because my car is white, I can get away with doing a simple one step polish, but I have to use either a microfiber cutting pad or a LC orange pad with multiple section passes. My wife's car I maintain using polish, but I originally corrected the paint with a microfiber cutting pad using ADAPT, then used a microfiber polishing pad still using ADAPT and then finally I used a LC white pad to finish it off.
