Hi all,
I've used Opti-Bond and Meguiars tire gel on some plastic trims in the past and the results were good.

Today I've tried Opti-Bond on these trims:

49559

As you can see, window trims are still pretty faded.
The other ones has hand marks on them (Although I cleaned them all perfect a few times).

Is it that bad that I used this product on the trims?
What would you suggest me to get for these and how do I take the opti-bond off?

Opti-Bond will come off with soap and water (water solubule). I just finished doing a similar restore on my 2001 Grand Prix. The B-Pillars were metal and the window moldings were plastic with rubber inserts. So three different surfaces to restore. I used Wurth Trim Coating but was interested if any one used Plastic restorer and a rubber treatment in addition to a "paint"?

If it was me, I'd CAREFULLY use Solution Finish (by CAREFUL, I mean avoid the red areas) as your restoring product.

You can remove OB by scrubbing it with APC and a MF towel. Then, just rinse well. I would use 1Z Plastic Cleaner or Tuff Shine Tire Cleaner first, but I'm guessing you don't have any of those on hand?
