I will be working on my car this weekend getting it finished for winter. I made some progress on my wheels. I called my mechanic and asked him to put it on the lift Thursday night so I could take the wheels home and clean them. Returned them at this morning at 7:45 so that I didn't tie up his lift. Man are they clean! I got two coats of DP wheel glaze on them.

As long as you didnt dress the tire before giving them back, now that could piss a mechanic off first thing in the morning! :D

Looks excellent tonya, I plan on cleaning/protecting my new wheels off the car if/when I get them.

No I didn't dress them. I thought about it, but I knew I would have to take them in a friends SUV.
No.. I have know him for years he wouldn't get mad at me. He just shakes his head and laughs at me. He said he would try not to get his finger prints on my clean wheels. :D

You know your OCD when you have had your PC taken away four different times for buffing and cleaning home surfaces.

Wheels look great Tonya. I always take my wheels off and clean them along with the wheel wells and brake calipers. Way to go girl.

hhhhmmmm clean the calipers too, shoot I didn't think of that. Well... next time, I get the oil changed and tires rotated, I will add it to my list. My poor mechanic is going to have a sore stomach from laughing at me so much. :D

Tonya, you'll have the cleanest wheels in Beavercreek. Hopefully your OCD is compatible with the fact that your car is going to get dirty this winter, especially when they start dumping salt on the roads.... :eek!

I am just amazed, of all on this forum, a women steps up with the cleanest set of wheels!
If you keep your vehicle that clean, then I bet you could eat off of the floors at your house! :buffing:
