2 step bay cleaner and dressing

I recently ran into a fellow detailer on the fly. Had the hood up on his freshly detailed 2008 Toyota Corolla S and the engine compartment was flawless. I thought it was a new car at first glance. He told me it took him 5 minutes with an apply and rinse product and before I could ask him what it was, he bolted.
I've done some searches of products but not having any luck finding a product like that.
Can anyone enlighten me on what it could have been? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Thanks for the reply. This product he was talking about was definitely used with water.
