Just bought a new 2015 with the matte black hard top!! I've read so many conflicting things as to what to put on it to protect it. Thanks for any info!

Stay away from dealer ship washing and products and they lack any training to do things really.

Theres choices in this industry just like any other. People have preferences to what they want and how its done.

I personally use:
Meguiars gold class wash>clay with any brand and ONR lube> collinite 476s paste wax. Its simple and works

I washed all these Jeeps last month and dried the tops with a Water Sprite chamois after spraying Rinseless Wash on the tops. If I owned one of these vehicles I would just wash the top with ONRww and dry with a Water Sprite. If I wanted more protection I would try Aerospace Protectant on a test spot to see how it worked

I really think I would use a coating on it, it may darken it a hair but once it's on the entire top I think it won't look noticeably different than any other

I treat my JKU hard top with Prima Hydro Max. Super easy to use and looks great. I tried a vinyl type product and got streaking. I found that any type of spray sealant should be perfect for this application.

I've washed my wife's JK hard top, then applied Aerospace 303 and buffed it out very evenly. Then applied Collinite 845. I think it looks great. More importantly, so does she. Lol
