I have new 2016 Porsche Macan and 2013 Audi S4 both in white color that needs detailing.

It has been years since i have detailed and am trying to get back to it. There are so many menzerna products and im confused.

Can any of you please review my purchase list and provide your inputs ?

I have a 7424xp, klasse sealant and looking to purchase the following compounds:

For the Macan, since the paint is new,
- Wash
- Claybar
- Menzerna 3800 + black pad
- Klasse Sealant

For the S4, Paint is in good condition but have some swirl marks,
- Wash
- Claybar
- Menzerna 3500 + white pad or something more aggressive ?
- Klasse Sealant

In addition, i also have lake ccs orange and yellow pads.

I'd use 3500 and the white pad on the Macan followed by a boutique lsp like WGDGPS or BFWD.

On the S4 I would use also the white pad and Menzerna 3 in 1.

Hi, welcome to AutoGeekOnline! You have been around for a while.

Congrats on the new Porsche!

I wouldn't bother starting of with 3800/black pad. It will not correct/polish up anything in the paint other than make the swirls shiny.

As Zubair mentioned, start of with 3500 on a white pad for the Macan.

On the S4 I would use 2500 and a white pad.

Alas, here is an article written by Mike Phillips about white paint.

Okay. I laughed out loud after reading that!
