Hey People! I've been reading through Quick Detailer descriptions and specs for a few days now. I'm now more confused than I was before I started the journey. I know many of you are experts at detailing cars so I figured I'd through you all my question for your expert answers.

I currently have a white car covered almost entirely in Suntek PPF, but not quite. I still have a fair amount of textured black plastic and actual paint exposed. I mostly track my car and drive on back roads where there are a ton of insects, tire rubber boogers (on the track), gravel, and dirt.

So after my long ~3 hour drive to the track I want to be able to spray a product on to remove the bug accumulation. When I do this I'd rather not have the wax stripped off. Also one of my favorite local tracks gets very hot, and I can't always get parking under a canopy.

So cliff notes:
-Product used to get rid of bugs, road crud, tire crud, and dirt
-Quick detailer - spray then wipe
-Needs to be able to be used in sun + heat
-Product should be safe for Suntek PPF clear bra (clear film)

What do you guys/gals suggest?

Thanks!

I will wager Poorboys Spray and Wipe will get recommended quite a few times. WG Rinseless diluted to waterless wash dilution is also very good but I think PB S&W will clean a bit better and behave better in the sun.

So this stuff? poorboysworld.com (http://www.poorboysworld.com/spray-wipe.htm)

Looks to be exactly what I want. It doesn't say anything about clear bra, but I'm guessing it's probably fine.

For cleaning bug splatter after your 3 hour road trip and not strip your wax, you'd have a hard time finding a better product than Poorboys Bug Squash:

Griot's Garage just came out with a new product called "Track Spray." May meet your other needs. Not available through AG just yet, but you can read some info about it here:

https://www.griotsgarage.com/product/track+spray.do

Please buy through AG though to support the sponsor of this forum!
