So I have a 99 type r which I got resprayed about a month ago, in championship white. When I got it back there was swirls and a few miniature defects. I fully wet sanded the car, starting at 2000 uoto 3000 grit.

I am using a da-s6 to polish. Not the best I know but it's all I got. Now I am stuck with what menzerna products to use.
I have bough fg400, pf2400, 3500 and 3800.

Menzerna uk told me to use fg400, then straight to 3800. They said that using 2400 would b a waste of time as it is coarser than fg400.

Menzerna USA told me to use fg400, then 2400 to break it down more and get rid of swirls, and then use 3800.

Now I don't know which process to use, I just want a really nice glossy shine, with no swirls, at all.

Could someone please shed some light on what I should use??
Iv done a section with fg400 and its come up quite good, with little to no swirls left.

Any help would be appreciated

^^ If the above is what you've seen then you can go right o 3500 or 3800. FG400 is great stuff. Use one of these and give it a test look-see to determine how the product works. You could also move to their AIO or another AIO Product.

For the sake of diplomacy...

Why not do two separate and distinct
"Test Spots": one using the Menzerna
USA recommendation; one using the
Menzerna UK recommendation...and
then select the products that you are
satisfied will meet your goal for this
vehicle's paint correction?

Since you wetsanded, I would go Menzerna USA. But I would use 3500 instead of 3800 as a final step, because 3500 has still a bit of cut.

FG400, SF3500 is all that's needed.

Thanks for the help. 2400 with an orange LC pad and 3500 with a white ?

As I'm using a DA and Is not very powerful, and after wetsanding, I think I'll use 2400 with orange pad, to break Down the last of the swirls, and finish with 3400 on white pad.
