Cleaning a coating

Is anyone familiar with McKee's coating prep? Im actually wanting to use it ON my coating to remove the many layers of spray this and thats on it, but I dont want to compromise the coating itself.

The description says it has no abrasives so If I tread lightly I think I could use it to lightly clean all the stuff off the surface?

What do you all think?
