My wife just got her G8 back from the body shop. I have been using DG rinseless on all my vehicles. Shop manager told me not to wax the new paint for 90 days. He did back off until 60 days since the hot weather would help with the curing time. He said not even spray wax.

I just wonder if the DG rinseless would cause any issues that would affect the paint guarantee? I really don't want to break out the hose even though I have some Duragloss and Optimum Car Wash, and also Megs. Gold Class.

Any other rinseless washes that might be safe? Thought immediately of Uber and ONR

I posted this a few moths ago.
Some one in the forum will tell you if DG rinseless is safe to use. Now we wait for more members

both the DG rinseless/waterless wash contain aquawax, so i would say not to use it...

My body shop says 5 days and can do what you want. Depends on how they apply. Normal lacquer with a bake should be fine. Lacquer with no bake then I don't know. If I spray myself I wait 30 days but wet sand as little as 24 hrs (no wax containing products).

As bad as I hate to I guess I will just break out the hose and use the car wash soap I've had around for ages.

A rinseless was is safe for your fresh paint. I tried it for my friends car. 😊
