I am thrilled to announce that Waxit has relocated to a retail showroom and warehouse at Unit 10 / 690 Gympie Rd, Lawnton QLD.

Our new landline number is (07) 3881 0585, Fax is (07) 3881 0588 my mobile and email are unchanged.

The showroom will be open between 8.30am and 2.30pm on weekdays and 9.00am to 12.30pm on Saturdays.

This moves means that Waxit can now offer detailing seminars, product demonstrations, social get to togethers and most importantly we now have the room bring in more new brands from Autogeek

As you may not know Mr David Ellis has left the Waxit family to move on to other ventures. We all wish him well for the future.

The Waxit Car Care online special shipping pricing is for all Australian deliveries. International deliveries are however a little different for us to process and intern are prices according to cubic size and weight.


Thank being said, there is an area in the checkout section with a link for international customers to contact us with their order to determine a shipping cost.

Thanks for that Antonio, I like to buy from NZ outlets where possible, I find shipping costs from Oz quite crippling and have in the past found it cheaper to order direct from the US where possible. Will Keep it in mind however.

Hi Antonio,

I've been looking on autogeek for some wolfgang products and see that you are the Australian distributor. I've been looking at items such as the Wolfgang Instant Detail Spritz and the Wolfgang Total swirl remover.

I'm curious to know why the price differences are so great. There seems to be a mark up of over 70% on these items (as detailed below) even though the Australian dollar is so close to the American dollar at the moment (1AUD = 0.9852USD)

Detail Spritz $34.95 (AUD) and $19.99 (USD) giving 74.8% increase
Totoal Swirl $59.95 (AUD) and $34.99 (USD) giving 71.3% increase

If you could explain this to me I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hi,

As a distributor or reseller for Wolfgang, Pinnacle, Detailer's Pro Series and others, we have to take many things into consideration when setting pricing.

Firstly there are huge costs of shipping with port duties and customs. Secondly we have to ensure there is margin for reselling to smaller retailers and also to trade.

you also have to take into consideration that we have to hold this stock and pay for it up front also. Another consideration is their is also a brokerage fee in currency exchange. All these components add up.

We try to set a fair price, and offer the highest level of service available. Waxit has a flat rate shipping nationally of $12.5o with orders over $150 free nationally.

When you take that into consideration the price we have set is very fair.
