View Full Version : Old vs New Nanoskin Mitt

So I read a while back people weren't getting very good results with the newer Nanoskin Mitts/Products. I had some Amazon credit to use the other day so I grabbed a new mitt and I'm not so sure it's legit even though it came in the Nanoskin packaging and said new formula or something like that on it. Perhaps this may be the issue with Chinese rip offs floating around. My old mitt had "Nanoskin" and their logo heat pressed into the wash side but the new one has nothing... Not to mention the rubberized coating is different. Has anyone else got a new one recently and is your new mitt still heat pressed with the name and logo? See pictures below...

I didn't buy a mitt but I did just recieve 2 new autoscrub pads. They are for sure the nanoskin brand. I have not heard of anyone else having any issues with their mitts.

Mine looks like your new one. No imprint on the back. Had it for about a year now.

Awesome, thanks for verifying guys. It's unfortunate company's sidestep little details like the heat pressing to save a few pennies though it has no effect other than this type of situation.

On the packaging, where does it say it was made?

I'm away for the weekend but I think I had looked and I don't remember seeing anything... Of course that could be my mind slipping too. I'll check again when I'm back home tomorrow

I ordered a nanoskin mitt from amazon a while back too and this is what it looked like:

I proceeded to exchange it and the second one I received also looked like this. So I just returned it and ordered the Griots Garage version from AG. much better quality control

That looks more like the original one I bought that is heat pressed with the name and logo...

Hmm interesting... Like I said I'll have to check mine as I still have the packaging for my old and for the new one. Anyone have any idea where griots are made?
