I've been asked how to remove water spots on a car that was coated with PBL Diamond Paint Coating.

The car was hit with sprinklers and not washed for about a week after.

There isn't any etching but after washing and using a QD spray (Menz Paint Refresh) the water spots are still visible.

Any suggestions for removing these spots?

Water spots are a problem for a lot of coatings. You can try CarPro spotless or something like 3D Eraser (on back order). Carpro Spotless should be safe for Carpro coatings, but I don't know how safe it would be for PBLDPC. I used it once on my car, which was coated with 22PLE, and it appeared to be fine after the fact, but I used to top my car with 22PLE Final Coat, so that may have helped with continued protection of the car. Hopefully you don't have to either polish, compound, etc.

Just be prepared for what you may have to do if you use one of these spot remover products.

I would pass on 3D Eraser. I've used it s handful of times and it has not worked any of those times. It did not even work in water spots that were 2 days old on my brothers car which is coated.
