So I may get a lot of bigger trucks and my little stepstool wasn't working so great should I get a bigger step stool or ladder if so what size should I get you some good advice for getting the roof detailed good and easy.

If you're vertically challenged like me (5'5".....5'6" on my best day), step stools and the raised work platforms do not help much. I'm looking into buying a podium ladder for some of the larger vehicles......probably a 6 footer.

Warner stand from Home Depot. I've used mine literally thousands of times and it is a life saver.

I use a Werner work platform, from Home Depot. 20" high....makes it just right, for me, to do my SUV (I'm 5' 8").

I've been watching for a used set of drywall stilts.

I have a couple of the Werner ones now which work great but having seen Jeff Brown's Griots set up it really makes me want one of these!

Now I want one as well. I like the rollers.

If that step stool is not enough, you may have to go with a latter or a bigger one. I think I might get step stool like you have, it looks like it would get me up higher than my Werner platform.

The platform works really well for regular height SUVs and vans for 6' me. You can work/walk the length of it and not be as confined as you would be with the step stool.

With the truck pictured below, I could barely reach the midline of the roof and the trucks step was up higher than the platform.

That Griots one looks cool.

I wonder if it's okay stand on when it's extended to the 33" height.
