can anyone share with us a safe method to dust the vehicle ?? as you all know dust is the major issue, just washed the car, next day a thin layer of dust, day after glass gets difficult to see through, 3rd day prepare for a car wash, also traditional dusters are NOT safe to use on the paint as they will induce swirls (even the good one made of cotton or microfiber due to ur hand motion when dusting over the car paint) I also tried the california car duster (TWICE) the first one was had wooden handle and was heavy and really stupid !! the second one had plastic handle but the issue here the wax within the strands leave obvious streaks/marks over the paint when dusting properly (just let the duster slide over the paint and supposedly the baked-in wax will pick all dust without scratching the paint), any other methods (or possibly product) u guys use and find it useful and SAFE on the paint ???!...

thanks,

I just wait for the weekend to wash, if its gets dusty it gets dusty, nothing we can do in this country lol. Once I start rinsless washes that might become easier :D

However, I use glass cleaner in the middle of the week to get the glass clean again.

so in short guys no safe method to dust ??...

i just did full manual car wash today (epic one, lol) i asked to do a lot of water pressure on the paint (coating) since it was covered with tons of dust (and possibly desert sand lol) i was really thrilled to see the water beeding in action and after the shampoo free wash on the paint, it was still feeling super soft probably due to the coating sealant applied on top, i just can't think what the car will be like the next day coz as i said a lot of dust accumulate on cars over here overnight...

thanks for the reviews though and what product should i go for the ONR or the wolfgang ??...

cheers,

Ok I guess I should have elaborated. If the car just has light dust accumulation you can do a quick waterless wash with Uber Rinseless diluted to WW ratio and a few MF towels in like 30 mins. I wouldn't do it any other way personally.

Wofgang is good, ONR is also good. I just use ONR because of local availability. Shipping wolfgang uber all the way to Dubai....yeah not gonna happen with the cost being calculated on weight only. And a higher chance of a spill if its travelling all the way here.

I still reallllyyy want to try it though :P

If you want to "dust" invest in a blower. I use a 530Watt blower from Black n decker. Thats if you really want to dust. I just leave it alone till the next wash and do the glass in between like I said. I cant wait for the rinseless way...I can probably squeeze in 2 washes a week :D

Air compressor.... just hit the car with air... Don't see an issue there.
