I got a uro tec blue recently and my first impression was
"What !!! AG sent me the Rupes blue instead ? "

And after switching it back and forth many times I figured it's probably BnS uro tec blue because of not having a Rupes printed on the Velcro area. But it's exactly the same as Rupes Blue that you can't say which one is which. While I don't have a new Rupes blue pad to show it in comparison with but those who have seen it would fine this uro tec blue a DITTO

I am yet to put these to test but the low pro feels more stiff and sturdy and the uro tec blue is open cell and I hope can overcome the drawbacks of Rupes blue (not shredding and working with all water/solvent polishes).
Just a few quick thoughts on the two most aggressive pads in BnS lineup. Hope it helps someone

They might feel similar, but the Rupes Blue pad if zoomed in close up it has open cells that you can actually see through.

I ordered some euro tecs but left the blue out as i usually like to cut with microfiber if in doing a 2 step.

I did feel at it detail fest though, they are way different pads, i know Mike has a article on the Blue pad and has some zoomed in shots for the Rupes one ill see if i can find it. But the cells on the Rupes one are open like a convertible!

Yes, Rupes is more open cell but this is close enough open and very open compared to the other cutting pads offerings by BnS. My main intent was that someone picking this up on a table would most likely think it's a Rupes Blue.

I am capturing with an iPhone and it can only zoom in so much while maintaining clarity.

From a trusted source, other than the maroon pad, the Uro pads use a very similar foam to the Rupes pads.

I would imagine that the sourcing of
"European foam", for the purpose of
assembling buffing pads, is, more or
less: a rather cut-and-dried process
for "pad companies" around the globe.

Unless, of course, there would happen
to be certain legal restrictions affecting
the sales of this commodity, in/for some
areas of the world-wide community.

Ordered some will have them both side by side to compare. Hoping AG will have the new Lake Country Forced pads in stock soon as everyone else seems to already stock and sell them. They replace the Hybrid range.
