Can I? Microfibers are like the only thing I have in my house.

The preferred method for applying UC is with a PC :p But seriously, a MF cloth would be fine. A terry or MF covered sponge applicator would work as well.

I would go with a MF applicator vs. a towel if you are going to do it by hand. You can get them at any local auto parts store. As Don M eluded to, a machine would be better, otherwise you are in for a long day and some sore muscles. :)

If you are doing a spot repair, sure. Doing the whole car go with an applicator, as noted.

I like the Meguairs foam applicator pad or something similar the MIcrofiber towel is great for removing the polish

What everyone else has said..... if you're just compounding a small area a DA would be essential.

I've done worse...

But it's so much nicer to apply Meguiars UC
using either an applicator or buffing pad.
