This Honda Fit was just three days old when the owner brought it to me. My initial inspection says that it has been parked outdoors at the dealership where the whole day's dust just sat on top of it and then wiped off (with some cloth just lying on the corner) hence the swirls. I'm guessing it might have been exposed under the rain too and was let dry without wiping. The owner wanted it to have a deserving "brand new" look. He wasn't after all the hype of beading or sheeting. He just wanted it to look better. On orange pad and Meg's D151 did the trick. Also, I topped with with OCW before I handed the keys back to the owner.

Amazing how some of these cars can be in that kind of shape this early in stages. Great job man!

Lot boy was sent out in the AM to get the dew off the cars with an old towel.

He did. But gave you an extra dose of dealer installed swirls at absolutely no extra charge.

Great job. I bought a Honda Fit last year that had been sitting on the lot for 6 months. Incredible deal on it. The paint was swirled out like the one above as well. It was nothing a detailing love couldn't fit, though.

Thank you for the kind words...

Haha! That boy helped a man put food on the table. So still, I thank him. :)

Yeah... It's an opportunity to give our car love and care. :)

Looks great. Red is right up there with Black in terms of showing the impact of Swirls IMO.

I'm sure the owner is even more pleased with his selection now that see how good it can actually look.

As the owner of a red Honda Fit, I can state that the paint is very soft, and it doesn't really take much to mar it up.
Looks amazing! Glad you turned it around. The red really pops on that car due to your skill and technique!

Unbelievable that dealers care so little about the delivered condition of a vehicle.

I have fixed a lot of brand new, fresh off the truck vehicles for dealers.
