So I ordered a Griots 5in vented backing plate for my Griots 6in DA polisher. I have lake country flat pads and notice that it is much easier to rip the pad off the griots backing plate than it is to off of the lake country plate, i am wondering if it is going to be dangerous to use this plate even tho it holds the pad still really snug just not as much as the lake country one.
