These are cool!

I can't even begin to count how many threads I've seen posted over the years with people asking,

What's the best tool cart?

Well here it is...

Autogeek Rebel "Everything You Ever Wanted In A Tool Cart" Tool Cart!

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105311

Let's go to the beginning of the story....

I get an e-mail from Chris Johnson telling me about his company and the really cool tool carts they build. I check out his info, look at the pictures and the tell him,

I love this tool cart!

But I also tell him that Nick's the man when it comes to getting new products into the Autogeek.com store. So I turn him over to Nick and guess what?

Nick LOVES this tool cart!

Fast forward a few months and Nick stops by my desk and says,

There's something new for the Autogeek Show Car Garage out in the garage.

So I walk out to the garage and see the stack of boxes. Right away I know what it is and I know that I need to go find Andre.

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105285

Andre and I lay everything out on a table and then sort out all the various components.

Air Compressor form California Air Tools

All the hardware, nuts and bolts are meticulously plastic wrapped to protect them or identify them for fast set-up.

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105289

After unpakcing all the boxes and laying all the compoents out, Andre begins assembling the new Autogeek Rebel Tool Cart. The directions are clear, easy to follow and show you step-by-step how to assembe your new cart.

The 4 caster wheels are heavy duty and all have the ability to be locked into position.

Time to set the top cabinet onto the lower cabinet.

Looking right at home in Autogeek's Show Car Garage!

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105296

Stretching out and getting used to the new digs...

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105297

This car is so well thought out... there's a heavy duty power strip included that mounts to the floor of the bottom cabinet. The air compressor and Metro-Vac Vac-N-Blo will be plugged into the strip and there well still be 4 more outlets for you to plug in any of your other tools.

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105298

Here's the air compressor - ready to bolt in.

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105299

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105300

Installed. Quick and simple.

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105301

Next the Metro Vac-N-Blo is strapped into its cradel and plugged in.

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105302

Time to install the air filter, air line and vacuum hose and then install the lower cabinet door.

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105303

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105304

These are really cool and if you've ever done any wrenching or detailing you know how handy these two guys are going to be...

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105305

Soft attach magnets to prevent scratching the outsdie of the car.

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105306

And BOOM - there you go! A place to hang paper towels!

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105307

I vote best invention of all time - the magnetic paper towel holder! You can also see there's hangers to hang your air line on the right side.

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105308

And a set of hangers on the left side to hang the extended vacuum hose. You can also order even more hose to extend your reach when vacuuming.

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105309

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105310

Looking good!

The cart does NOT come with protective covers for the shelves and trays, I used some Autogeek Cover Up Towel on the top shelf and some Guzzler HD's on the bottom two shelves to keep my tools from scratching the paint or sliding around.

There's so much information about this cart that instead of writing my own copy below is from the website

The ultimate in auto detailing carts!

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/data/3093/Rebel_Cart_07.jpg

The Rebel Auto Detailing Supply Cart is everything you’ve ever wanted in a detailing cart – and so much more. Manufactured using a heavy-duty all-steel construction and equipped with tons of convenient features (some you wouldn’t even think to want!), the Rebel Auto Detailing Supply Cart could be the answer to years of clutter, disorganization, and over-all disorder in your detail shop or home garage. Additional optional features can make the Rebel Auto Detailing Supply Cart a huge money and time saving investment. To be one of the best, you need to have the best, and the Rebel Auto Detailing Supply Cart is a step in the right direction.

There’s one thing all detailers, be they enthusiasts or professionals, have in common: the need for more space. You don’t even realize how much space all of your stuff takes up until there’s no more space to be had! And say you do have a cabinet or overhead storage in your shop, how do you get all of your supplies where you need them? That sounds like a lot of back and forth carrying that can be avoided with a quality detailing cart – the Rebel Auto Detailing Supply Cart.

Rebel Auto Detailing Supply Cart is NOT your average detailing cart. With a total of three separate storage compartments, heavy-duty locking casters, and an over-all height over 5 feet, this thing is a beast! We’ve broken down the construction and components of the Rebel Auto Detailing Supply Cart to show how truly revolutionary this cart is:

Top Compartment and Lid

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/data/3093/Rebel_Cart_02.jpg

Reminiscent of your favorite tool box, the Rebel Auto Detailing Supply Cart’s top lid lifts up using hydraulic components for a gentle lock and release system. Once the lid is fully open, you will not have to worry about it slamming shut. This top compartment measures about 9 inches, perfect for storing small bottles of product, polishing pads, towels, or any other small detailing supply. Also featuring a cutout for power cords, the top compartment can be the perfect place for a small table top fan, or laptop while working.

Slide-out Drawer

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/data/3093/Rebel_Cart_03.jpg

Right below the top compartment is a pull out drawer that can be used for storing detailing brushes, small tools, pens or other office supplies, or even a keyboard if you’d like your Rebel Auto Detailing Supply Cart to double as your home office desk!

Middle Compartment

The next compartment down features a pull down door that can double as a desk top or working tray. The larger interior space of this compartment can store a ton of microfiber towels, a couple of your favorite go-to polishers, and your larger detailing product bottles. Measuring about 13” x 24” x 24”, this middle compartment is the second largest and the closest to your reach. Added bonus – the pull down door has a lip which prevents small tools from sliding off AND doubles as a surface to hang spray bottles while open!

Before we get into the bottom compartment, there’s yet another feature unique to the Rebel Auto Detailing Supply Cart. It was designed with two heavily used detailing machines in mind – a California Air Tools Air Compressor and a Metro Vac N’ Blo Portable Vacuum. Equipped with mounting brackets made just for these specific machines, they can be anchored in and you can be on your way to a fully detailed car!

Bottom Compartment & Wheels

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/data/3093/Rebel_Cart_04.jpg

Aside from the customized space for your air compressor and vacuum/blower, the bottom compartment features an industrial grade power strip and 15 foot cord that anchors to the base of the cart. This power strip has 6 outlets to accommodate all of your power tools and anything else you may need to plug in or charge while in use. If you already have store for your air compressor and vacuum/blower, use this bottom compartment to store empty buckets, your Detailer’s Rolling Creeper, or extra product! And hey, with this bottom compartment measuring 28” x 25.75” x 29”, you may even be able to fit a mini-fridge for cold drinks in there!

Each Rebel Auto Detailing Supply Cart features exterior handles for easy maneuverability and additional storage for hanging spray bottles. With a black powder coated exterior, exclusive Autogeek logo featured on both configurations, and chrome finished door handles, the Rebel Auto Detailing Supply Cart also adds some décor to your detailing space!

The Rebel Auto Detailing Supply Cart is available in two configurations

It's a small air comressor but it will power most air tools for short periods. I'll test it out with the Tornador Black tonight on the 1969 Olds 442 and let you know.

I have that compressor and a Tornador Black. It won't keep up with it. You'll just get irritated. I put my Black aside until I get a compressor that will hold 90lbs with a steady stream of air flowing out of it. I'll probably be looking for a compressor that runs between 105/110 to 135+. Or, maybe I'll go two stage.

Nice cart! Too bad I have so much stuff in my garage I have no room for it. That & the wife would think I went over the edge of sanity if I got it. I think I went over the edge of sanity when I found AG! I don't think I am alone in that thought.

Thank you for the feed back. I guess I will have a separate air compressor.
