These are cool!
I can't even begin to count how many threads I've seen posted over the years with people asking,
What's the best tool cart?
Well here it is...
Autogeek Rebel "Everything You Ever Wanted In A Tool Cart" Tool Cart!
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105311
Let's go to the beginning of the story....
I get an e-mail from Chris Johnson telling me about his company and the really cool tool carts they build. I check out his info, look at the pictures and the tell him,
I love this tool cart!
But I also tell him that Nick's the man when it comes to getting new products into the Autogeek.com store. So I turn him over to Nick and guess what?
Nick LOVES this tool cart!
Fast forward a few months and Nick stops by my desk and says,
There's something new for the Autogeek Show Car Garage out in the garage.
So I walk out to the garage and see the stack of boxes. Right away I know what it is and I know that I need to go find Andre.

Andre and I lay everything out on a table and then sort out all the various components.

All the hardware, nuts and bolts are meticulously plastic wrapped to protect them or identify them for fast set-up.

After unpakcing all the boxes and laying all the compoents out, Andre begins assembling the new Autogeek Rebel Tool Cart. The directions are clear, easy to follow and show you step-by-step how to assembe your new cart.

Time to set the top cabinet onto the lower cabinet.
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105295
Looking right at home in Autogeek's Show Car Garage!
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105296
Stretching out and getting used to the new digs...
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105297
This car is so well thought out... there's a heavy duty power strip included that mounts to the floor of the bottom cabinet. The air compressor and Metro-Vac Vac-N-Blo will be plugged into the strip and there well still be 4 more outlets for you to plug in any of your other tools.
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105298
Here's the air compressor - ready to bolt in.
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105299
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105300
Installed. Quick and simple.
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105301
Next the Metro Vac-N-Blo is strapped into its cradel and plugged in.
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105302
Time to install the air filter, air line and vacuum hose and then install the lower cabinet door.
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105303
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105304
These are really cool and if you've ever done any wrenching or detailing you know how handy these two guys are going to be...
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105305
Soft attach magnets to prevent scratching the outsdie of the car.
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105306
And BOOM - there you go! A place to hang paper towels!
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105307
I vote best invention of all time - the magnetic paper towel holder! You can also see there's hangers to hang your air line on the right side.
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105308
And a set of hangers on the left side to hang the extended vacuum hose. You can also order even more hose to extend your reach when vacuuming.
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105309
http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/watermark.php?file=105310
Looking good!
The cart does NOT come with protective covers for the shelves and trays, I used some Autogeek Cover Up Towel on the top shelf and some Guzzler HD's on the bottom two shelves to keep my tools from scratching the paint or sliding around.
