One of my customers found on her audi forums that Meguiars #17 plastic cleaner would remove the scratches in her radio/navigation screen. Will this work or will I ruin her screen by using it?

Great question. I can't wait to hear the reply to this.

Looks like the perfect product. I just don't get too aggressive with screens.

I'd be interested, as well. The instrument panel plastic in Audis is notorious for scratching if you breath on it. I'd like to find something to clean mine up by hand.

After looking around a bit, it appears that M17 is a 2-step product used with M10. Megs also has a 1-step product called PlastX that is supposed to be similar, but perhaps not as refined.

If you're looking to just clean plastic, I think you'd use M10 alone. To remove fine scratches, start with M17 and then polish with M10.

Be careful:
Some of the navigation/radio/LCD
plastic-screens can have a COATING
on them.
