Hey guys,

I have an upcoming client who asked if I could correct an issue on his one wheel. Apparently, he had a brake line leak brake fluid onto his wheel. The brake fluid stained a portion of the wheel and left a discoloration on the wheel

Any way I could remove the stain on the wheel besides having the customer powder coat them

I would explain to him right away that the paint could be damaged and you may not be able to remove it! Brake fluid can remove paint. Inspect the area very well you don't want to hit it with a pressure washer and blow the paint off lol.

The customer told me the brake fluid didn't get on the paint, just on the one wheel. Its a chrome wheel and had a color stain on it which I didn't see yet. I have a feeling the brake fluid ate into the chrome and nothing I can do. Any thoughts of reversing the stain from brake fluid?

I'm not really sure other than properly cleaning the wheel and maybe using a metal/chrome polish to see if it helps remove the stain. We are going to need some pictures of the damage.:)
