2008 Z06

I got a new toy this week and I had hoped to detail it this weekend but I spent more time driving it then detailing it. It had 5 miles on it when I picked it up and had been in the dealer's showroom. The had just got the car in and yet it had a lot of very light scratches on the truck lid and a few other places. At least the dealer did not have a chance to swirl it all up.

I used Menzerna Micro Polish with a white LC pad. It did a great job removing the light scratches with little effort. I hope to get a coat of Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant topped off with Sourveran Paste this week.

Sweet Gary! Glad I could talk you into it:) Betcha that thing growls! Very nice vette......fast too! Best bang for the buck. Well, how does it drive? Compare it to your other "super" cars.

Rsurfer, It came with the wheels. I like the wheels but I would have perfered the polished aluminum over the chromed aluminum even though the chrome cost more.

I'm looking for the right yellow Porsche so I don't want to end up with to many yellow cars.

Dennis I have not really jump on the car yet but have had a chance to do a couple of laps in a Z06 at Sebring. You can't beat the car for the money. I love the heads up display. It compares very nicely to the Gallardo at a faction of the cost.

If I had 80K, that's what I'd get:D I figured it would compare to the Gallardo nicely, but like you said, for less than 1/2 the price! Nice purchase:cheers:

If you get a yellow Porsche, where are you going to park all these awesome rides. I guess one can go in the trailer. Noticed a silver vette in your garage, are you keeping that?
