The clear plastic protecting your gauges are super soft and will scratch easily if you use a dry towel. Use a damp towel when cleaning instrument panels.

Is there any repair for them if they become scratched?

Always blot first then lightly wipe.you can conceal scratches, but more than likely hard to remove.meguairs plastic polish may help or a sovereign carnauba in the liquid form.

Get yourself a can of Mckee's plex all. A true blessing for interior plastics. TIP: Do not spray directly on the gauge face. Any product used this way has a chance of getting behind the plastic. Spray it on a MF towel first, then buff off. Really a great product for this need.

Somebody shoot me, but just thinking out loud here. What about a headlight restoration product, or good ol' sanding and polishing like a body shop will do for faded headlights?
