Does 0000 fine grade steel wool remove wax from my rims if I were to use the steel wool after I waxed my rims? Just wondering

If you are not careful, it might remove the rims' finish as well.

Yes it will remove Wax from the rim.

It will also remove Wax from the rest of
the exposed areas of the wheel as well.

lol @ Mike. It sure will remove wax. Is it gonna be recommended you use steel wool to do so here on AG? NO.

Why do you think you need to use even fine grade steel wool to get the wax off? How long has it been on the wheel?

use a wax cleaner of some sort, do it right, even if you have to wait for the product to get to you from online.
