I don't wash dealer cars, but at my old dealer we used to have a vendor that would come and rinse every car with a power washer and dry with a shamie (chamois). The dealer paid the vendor $0.90 per car. The lot had about 300-350 cars or so. The vendor had about 8 people doing all the work and would be done in about 2-3 hours. But this was just to knock off the dust and lightly dry.

Yeah I saw this process going on one time at my local Nissan dealership, man those cars were swirled out to the max! Hundreds of them had trashed out paint.

I understand that some wash car lots for .90 cents a car but that would be a lot of work for very little money. I am guessing .90 cent car lot washers don't last very long in the business?

Well it was done on a weekly basis and the vendor used our water which was dionized water. Never stopped them from coming and I worked their for almost 6 years.
