Is This Pitting on My Bumper?

Hi all! I have been wondering about these spots on the front bumper of my 2012 Mazda 2. I have attached some pics below. Is this pitting or something else? Can it be fixed easily?

Hard to see in the pictures, if it is pitting or chips, nothing to do but touchup or respray , no buffing or sanding will improve, very hard to see in the pics tho.

Would Dr.Colorchip be effective on this or do I pretty much need a respray? This is a daily driver car. I'm not looking for perfection, but I would like it to look better than it does.

If they are actual chips and you can feel them with your nail, you should have some success with the dr color chip kit. All depends how many there are and how much time you want to spend on that. If it bugs you, maybe have it painted and do clear paint protection film over it for protection.

Front bumper covers take a beating.
Here is a remediation I did a while back. Perfect?, no, better? yes, time consuming?, heck yes. Would I do it again in lieu of a body shop? no.

Also, if you decide on a respray, after 30 days have either Expel or 3M PPF (clear bra) installed.
