So I bought a GG 6inch DA polisher last week and did some research on pads and such and I just bought a 5inch backing plate for the Lake Country 5.5inch pads I ordered 2 blue, 2 black, 2 white, 2 orange, and 1 yellow. Hopefully I will love these pads and can get some good correcting!

Which ones did you get? Flat pads? CCS?
I'm looking to get a new set of cutting and polishing pads early this summer myself. I'm good on finishing pads but my cutting and polishing are on their way out

You can't go wrong with those.

I like to have at least four cutting and polishing pads though. You have a great start!

Good stuff! Which products will you be combining your setup with? I.e. Compound/Polish/Wax.

Here's an article by Mike regarding the number of pads per step---- http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ask-expert-featuring-mike-phillips/88109-how-many-pads-do-i-need-buff-out-my-car.html

I am going to using meguiars m105/m205 and then using poor boys black hole w/ wolfgang deep gloss sealant 3.0 on top!
