Yeap! I discovered today while polishing my black smart forfour with my brand new PC Im the MAN, that the black bodypanels are in fact... black, no paint, they are just black plastic! I don't know if its good or not but while examining the interior of the hood I found out that the plastic panels are not painted, the strange thing is that they actually "behave" like a painted panel.

The silver parts are aluminum and all the black parts are plastic.

That's a cool looking car! is it pretty spacious inside?

Thank you for your comments, actually it's very roomy inside and I'm having a lot of trouble geting the swilrs and scratches out with XMT #3 and the orange pad, I think I'm gonna have to order some menzerna and yellow pad in order to achieve flawles finish, because the only way I've been able to remove swirls is with orange pad at speed 6 of my PC and with no pressure at all, I tried to apply pressure but it didn't work, I think this little plastic car is gonna drive me nuts hehe!

do you think some of the swirls are micromarring from the aggressive polish?

No I don't think so, I'm pretty sure by now that I def. need a stronger polish, but for now I'll give it a try with various passes of #3 and orange pad which is the strongest combo I have.

Just keep upping the ante. Go to stronger compounds, use a rotary, or both.
