I have seen a lot of love for the GG polishers and also the Flex.
But I cannot find any mentions for the Torq polishers.
I was thinking of getting a Torq 10fx(Rupes are out of my budget).
Any feedback on those?

I'd get this for $10 more:

Rupes LHR 15ES Big Foot Random Orbital Polisher, rupes bigfoot, rupes car polisher (http://www.autogeek.net/rupes-lhr-15es-big-foot-polisher.html)

Or save some money and get this if you like the "rotary" style:

Meguiars MT300 Dual Action Polisher (http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-mt300-dual-action-polisher.html)

In Canada, the gap in price between the two is like 250$, not just 10$ unfortunately.

Oh, sorry, I didn't realize. That on/off speed control would drive me crazy on that Torq polisher.

I actually think that it is a neat feature. But then again, I haven't use a lot of polishers besides the PC.

Having to run up through the speed range every time you turn the polisher on? That's like your TV volume going down to zero every time you turn it off.

True but don't you have to spread the polish at the lowest setting every time anyway?

What if you stop for a second to swat a fly, sip your drink, wipe a portion of a panel, etc.

A lot of us routinely use polishers with a trigger, so you can feather it to spread polish without changing the speed.

Thanks for the advise.
The Boss 15 is double the cost of the Torq 10fx. Ouch!

Why don't you look at some traditional machines like the GG 6" or the PC7424XP? What is that pricing like in CAN?

I already own a PC and even though I didn't use it much, it is heavy AF and very unbalanced. 5 minutes after using it my body is still shaking haha.

Why are the machines mentioned higher than the Torq? I don't understand with the exchange rate why their is such a difference between the Torq and the rest. Me personally I wouldn't pay anymore than $150.00 for the Torq. Their are too many other options in the same range of $289.00

Can't you buy the Rupes or Griots here and just pay the duty?

Got any friends across the border :-)

A 10fx is $199 USD. I don't see how people are saying other machines are only like $10 more.
