I got great results on my 1990 Porsche 911 using HD Speed/Poxy/Express with my 2002-era 7424 and new LC Thin pads, but there are areas where even a wool pad and Speed weren't aggressive enough to reduce some of the scratches in this hard German single-stage black paint. If I wanted the next notch up in cut would I go with Adapt or Cut? I do have a full set of foam pads, and ideally I'd like something that had as little overlap with Speed as possible so as to get as much range as I can out of the minimum number of products.
I hadn't bought new chemicals in quite a while and I have to say, the modern stuff (Speed in particular) is pretty damned amazing. After first having done my 911 I got the best compliment you can get, pretty much.... A coworker asked, "Did you get that thing painted?" ;)
