Quick Q: Wolfgang Uber Rinseless vs D155 Last Touch Meguiars

Does anyone own both these products, and has diluted the WGUR to the 3 oz per gallon ratio to make their detail spray?

Can anyone comment if they are somewhat similar?

I have my D114 which I use as a waterless, quick detailer, and rinseless, but I also have D155 Last Touch. D155 honestly feels like a superior detail spray versus D114 at a 1:128 ratio, and I was curious if WG Uber rinseless could deliver me that, but at a much more economical price, compared to buying a ton of D155.

Sorry haven't used Last Touch but WGUR is such an awesome product. Use it for rinseless but I actually use it mainly as a waterless wash. It requires so little buffing to prevent streaking and it is so slick and glossy. My go to waterless wash when the car is pretty dirty is PB Spray and Wipe but otherwise I reach for WGUR. And like you already noticed, you can make a ton of Uber detail spray since it comes in concentrate.

Yes, Uber would yield quite a remarkable result vs D155.

Uber is more of a candy gloss, whereas D155 is more of the oily gloss.

Last Touch does clean (has more bite), overall, but that's to be expected from a dedicated QD.

realm than either Meguiar's D114/D115,
and/or Wolfgang Uber Rinseless...that is
to say: when they are diluted to be at their
"Detail Spray ratios".

•With that being said, and out of the way...
-I like the following features about
Meguiar's Last Touch (D155):

1.) At full strength: It is a very high
lubricity (very slippery) Spray Detailer

2.) Because it's so (too) slippery: It should
(must) be diluted 1:1 for use as a Clay Lube

3.) But, then again—because of its slipperiness:
-D155 can be used as a waterless car wash.
-In some areas of the World, it is actually sold
and packaged as a Waterless Wash.

Why even bother using it as a clay lube these days, when D114 @1:128 can be used..

So is the D155 comparable to meguiars quick detailer that you can buy in a spray bottle ? Looking for something to use when my truck is just dusty or has rain spots

I've never found a product that consists
of, basically, water-miscible co-solvents
to be oily and/or greasy.

I think Meguiar's M34 Final Inspection is the bulk version of the original Quick Detailer. But D155 is very similar. M34 has the advantage of being bodyshop safe (free of silicone?), whereas D155 has the advantage of being able to dilute it 1:1 as a clay lube. So to answer your question, yes D155 is comparable to Meg's QD. I ended up choosing D155 to replace the individual bottles of UQD that I had been using.

So you use the D155 just as you would the QD spray on wipe off is it safe to use just to remove dust and rain spots ?
