I'm looking into buying a steamer. I wish I knew the exact model other than a mytee. My other than AG dealer in town distributor has one. Says real cheap because he is distributor and i believe because of our relationship he giving me his price of $300, looks like the $700/900 DUPRAY sold on AG (sorry autogeek). I am unable to find a similar one online.

Anyways question! How is the quality on the big boys? Any bad experience dealing with these brand machine because it seems like most online videos have the $1000 expensive equipment. Just hoping they gave good rep I guess from some of you gotta have a clean car like people.

Thanks for your time

You say it's a Mytee? And you can't find it even on their own website?

I know right! Thought maybe old product or it maybe even the s-300 the extractor. I'm meeting with him Friday but I'll call him tomorrow to get confirmation if it's a steamer or indeed the s300. Just trying to get idea on how the brand holds up again the rest.

But yeah if he tells me the model number and it's not on their site ill pass. For some reason that went over my head im just anxious to get one and start making a lil more profit until I can get a big one. I think investing an affordable one right now can save me some time and make a little more profit In interior cleaning. I'm a mobile weekend warrior I guess u can say ha-ha.

You don't really need the specific part #
Plus he might not like being asked such a touchy question [just sayin, some people get defensive. Lol]

You could simply get a picture of the machine, and then call Mytee customer service and email the photo to the rep you're talking to.. They'll be able to tell you all about it. Including why it's not found on their website.

If you want a real work horse of a steam cleaner that offers real benefits like,

Stainless steel boiler
You can use tap water an not void the warranty - (Don't need to purchase distilled water just to use the machine)
Continuous refill - that means no need to turn the machine off and let it cool down before you can add more water
REAL pro grade attachments - most inexpensive steam machines are lacking in the quality of the attachments that enable you to use the steamer
High heat - low humidity

Then get a Dupray.

I spent about an hour yesterday steam cleaning one of the grossest interiors I've ever cleaned and not only did the interior come out looking like brand new but because a steam machine KILLS germs I'm no longer washing my hands after getting in an out of the car.

I took pictures but won't have time to process them and create a write-up till next week.

Until then, here's the link to MyTee Steamer on the Autogeek store

And here's the link to Dupray steamers on the Autogeek store

In my opinion, here's the best bang for your buck and a pro-grade tool that will make you money, not cost you money.

Thank you for that great info Mike and the heads up Eldorado2k . Its a Mytee VS1500 Firebird Vapor Steamer
that is not sold on their site anymore. I will contact them just to see what happened. If i don't like the answers you sold me on the Dupray Mike, those machines looks really slick and looks like they offer what i am looking for.

The Firebird was discontinued.

The Duprays are high quality and pro-grade. Here's a real-world example of what the Dupray can do. This interior was cleaned by the students in one of my 3-day detailing classes.

At our September Detailing Boot Camp Class (http://www.autogeek.net/detailing-boot-camp.html) we had an all original 1967 Lincoln Continental in our class for a full interior and exterior detail.

Here's how the original white leather interior looked BEFORE my class took the Dupray Hill Injection Steam Cleaner to it...

wow, that looks amazing and yeah they are discontinued. I just talked to Mytee before i saw your reply. You sold me Mike on Dupray but since they are doubled what i can afford at the time being, i will wait a month. Until then interior will be cleaned by hand and my DA for carpet cleaning. THANKS AGAIN. i can save that money what i was going to spend on that discontinued Mytee and get the ONE PLUS™ Steam Cleaner from AG by end of May. Wow those interiors looked spotless.
