I have a g110v2 by meguiars. I like the machine but have 1 gripe and 1 question. The machine does not have a rubber grit on the handle. Any way I could glue one on? What do you guys think?

It came with a 6 inch backing plate so I use a 5.5inch pad. I am thinking about getting a smaller backing plate for smaller areas, any ideas on what one I should get?

The new Meguiar's thin pads on a 5" backing plate will be a good fit for the tool.

You could remove the handle completelly, it gives more precision when buffing.

You should not be using pads smaller than the backplate. Get one of the 5 inch backplate to use your 5.5 inch pads. Or use 6.5 inch pads for your 6 inch backplate.

I am talking about the machine piece where to put your hand for the 1st question, not the attachable handle.

My second question, I will get a smaller backing plate and the appropriate pads with it but was wondering what do I get actually?
