Hey guys,

So I just bought a new 2016 VW Golf R in Lapiz Blue.

I will hopefully have it in about 2 weeks roughly and I told the dealership not to touch the paint on the car as I want to take it home and properly clean/claybar/wax/protect with UK Cquartz.
They will however clean the interior.

Is there anything I should watch out for or do when I get the car? I will check it for any minor scratches and if needed I will use HD Speed to fix anything.

Thanks

I think I cover all the bases as to what to do, step-by-step upon purchasing a brand new car in this article....

Hard to believe I wrote that 4 years ago already.

Actually anyone can follow the steps for any car, new or old.

Congratulations on the new car!

Thank you, its a great post.

I will have to buy some more iron X do you think it would be a better idea to just buy the Trix combo of tar and ironx together? This would remove any tar that could possible be on the paint also?

Thanks

Do you guys think putting something like Cquartz UK on my new exhaust tips (when I get the car) would help protect it or would it burn off? I have put it on brake calipers before and so far no issues.

Thanks
