Can it be applied in multiple coats to give a little more depth to the look. If so how long between coats. Not looking for more longevity just a little more depth to the look.

Honestly the only real reason to apply a second coat would be to insure complete coverage. It may enhance the look a little bit.

I agree, even though this not one of the coatings I've tried...yet. Depth is the work of prep work and a product like Collinite #915.

As far as prep work goes I am getting there.

I don't think you be able to get more than two coats on it. By the time you get too the second coat the product will start to bead up on itself.

I would get the second coat on within an hour of the first coat.

I did 2 coats on my Touareg. I did not notice a difference. I waited about an hour then started the 2nd coat. The Forester was only covered with one heavy coat.

Both bead excellent and look excellent. Going forward I would just do a heavy coat instead of wasting the time on a 2nd coat. Just take your time and coat everything the first time.

Mr Ancient1,

Good job on the silver, has a nice satin-e shine. Does the Uber provide the extra depth you were trying to achieve? Did you go with 2 coats?

I did do two coats and don't know if it made any difference but hopefully added a little extra thickness to the coating and pretty much guaranteed complete coverage. As to the affect I was looking for I would say it was as close as could be expected with the color of my car. A lot of it could be from the polishing as much as the coating. By eye the car looked pretty good before I started after I did the essence/reload application last fall.
Here is a picture I took last fall.

The one thing that did improve was the clarity after the final polish. Here are closeup pictures of the same area of my hood before I started and after the final polish where you can see the big improvement in clarity, which made all the work I put in polishing worth it.
