I'm planning to use different types of coatings for some jobs. One is CarPro Cquartz for the paint and Opti Lens for the headlights. My concern is the following:

Do I need these kind of Paint Prep chemicals?

Wolfgang Perfekt Finish Paint Prep 128 oz. (http://www.autogeek.net/wg-4402.html)
Optimum Paint Prep (http://www.autogeek.net/optimum-paint-prep-128oz.html)
Detailer’s Coating Prep Polish, best car polish (http://www.autogeek.net/best-car-polish.html)

Or doing the Polish step with my DA (HD Polish, Menzerna 3800, Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover, etc) and then CarPro Eraser will give me the same result as using those paint prep?

TIA

I would use what the maker recommends for their specific coating you are using for best chance of success

I keep CarPro Eraser and Optimum Paint Prep on hand as I install coatings from both lines. You can mix IPA solution, and Mike P has written a great article on the subject.
