Wolfgang Polish Enhancer (http://www.autogeek.net/wg2000.html)
Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 (http://www.autogeek.net/wg5500.html)
Wolfgang Fuzion Estate Wax (http://www.autogeek.net/wolfgang-fuzion-carnauba-polymer-car-wax.html)

My dad, in the process of detailing his Arcadia, found some sap. Before I could give some advice, use of a water soaked microfiber towel and 'elbow grease' left damage to the paint. He said it was a couple of spots in this area. I said I'd be happy to work on it next time I come by.
With the Porter Cable I started with the Orange pad with the SF3500(4000) in a two step. Taking the (Mike Phillips teachings) least aggressive approach I could see that all or enough of the damage and surrounding swirls would be removed or close enough to be completely removed with the second step which was the White pad and SF3500(4000).

This area I polished by hand starting with FG 400 and following that with SF3500(4000)
46816
Afterwards I polished the hood that had a noticeable collection of Swirls with the Duetto SF3500 on a yellow pad
Applied Wolfgang Polish Enhancer to the areas polished followed by Deep Gloss Paint Sealant, what my father uses.
Later in the evening I topped the entire car with Fuzion Estate Wax, polished exhausts, and other things because I got carried away lol.
