Leaf blower hose attachment

This may be a dumb question but, does anyone make a attachment for a leaf blower to narrow down the end so it has a more direct air flow for getting into smaller areas?

Have you looked at the Milwaukee electric leaf blower? It has a rubber end on it narrowed down to like 1 1/2 or 2 inches I think.

Here is a picture mods can delete it if they need to.

Metro Vac hose extension

Leaked like crazy at the junction of the blower and the adapter. Fixed with electrical tape.


It works acceptably, but not as good as the Metro Sidekick or air compressor.

- It does not blow as hard

- It is much larger than the Sidekick

- Tough to use for blowing out interiors


I suggest saving up and buying the Sidekick.

Very cool!! I've always tried to figure out how to convert one that has a square end to attach a hose.

Ridgid makes 1. However it's very hard to find.. The only reason I ended up with it is because I was under the impression I was buying a "claw"
But when I called Ridgid to ask why this rare claw had been discontinued, they informed me it wasn't a claw but that it was actually a blower wand.

That turned out to be good news in the end.. Because not only did I get it for free [once I informed the seller it wasn't a claw] but it works awesome! It's a full size 2.5" attachment and blows Way harder than my Metro Sidekick. I mainly use the Sidekick on vehicles because it's size makes it more practical to work with.. But when I need to dry a seat or carpet in a hurry, nothing beats the vac & this attachment.

I mainly use it to sweep the patio in a fraction of the time it used to take. Never again will I use a broom. Lol.

Is it really easy to maneuver around with it? Seems a tad bulky from the vids.. Like it might slip off the shoulder strap and result in near disaster. Lol.

some have had the handle come off the hose but other than that it really hasn't been a problem for me in which the way you hold it. if someone is looking for an alternative to the master blaster which costs 3-4X more, this is a great alternative and doesn't consume as much energy...

Good info.. How many watts is it? Compared to the Sidekick? Power consumption, along with water conservation has become such a burden here in California lately.. Charges are through the roof.

DP Turbo Dryer now know as McKee`s 37 Turbo Dryer is an excellent drying tool.

I am no electrician Turbo Dryer is 6.5 peak hp around 4k to 5k watts and the Sidekick 1.3 hp 950 watts.

If anyone wanted a Turbo Dryer the opportunity for a DP unit at $99.00 was an awesome deal.

I am just a home car detailer and I will not do without my Turbo Dryer :dblthumb2:

I thought he meant it costs around $25... But at the same time I knew there was no way on earth that could be the price. Lol.

i have both the sidekick and dp blower (now known as mckee's 37 like the other dp products have changed over) and the dp blower blows more volume of air and i wouldn't depend on the sidekick to dry a whole car (you could but it would take too long). i would rather use a leaf blower if i didn't have the dp blower...

So you use it to totally dry your vehicle? What kind of vehicle do you own? And what's your #1 drying towel? I'm curious to know.
