I think I qualify as a fan of Harley Earl,
My first 1959 Cadillac. This was a 4-door Flattop that was going to be CRUSHED. I bought it from the owner for $165.00, refreshed all the important stuff, carburetor, generator, points, caps, brakes, etc. then cut the top off and turned it into a convertible. I marked the top before cutting it off and made brackets to enable me to bolt it back on, worked out really well. Convertible in the summer, hardtop in the winter.
My second was a creampuff with only 52,000 original miles...
My third was a 2-door Coupe d Ville. I pulled this out of a barn in McMiniville, Oregon. It ran good but the transmission was shot. I drove it a few times then yanked out the engine and transmission and stuffed in a 468 BBC.
The below was the driveway in the front of our house, luckily for me my neighbors all like cool cars. That's my 1966 Chevy Milk Truck parked out on the street.
Owned 2 other 1959 Caddies plus 2 1960 Caddies and even a 1949 Cadilac, so yeah, kind of a fan of the big fin Caddies.
