Re: Review: SONAX CC36 Ceramic Coating - LC HDO Foam Pads - Makita PO5000C - Supercharged Dodge Yellow Jacket

So if you where to setup the 3401vrg with mille blue pad and mille coarse compound and the mille with the same setup. Would the Flex do a faster and more effective job than the mille would?

    No
Mille and po5000C will outcorrect the 3401 due to more RPM and more OPM

For cutting or compounding, or correction work, (whatever term everyone likes), I prefer to use thicker foam pads versus thin foam pads so I'm not sure I would try to buff out a car using the Mille foam pads on the FLEX 3401. Next time I buff out a car I'll give this combo a try.

    That's not my experience.

I was waiting for more reviews before I added another forced rotation polisher to the arsenal.

Flex 3401 or Rupes Millie is the big debate now. It sounds like the Flex 3401 is still on top for heavy duty polishing like working on Boat Gelcoat

Thanks Mike for another excellent review!

Mike have you tried the new Mille polishes with RO polishers?

No. Kind of weird but either the Mille polishes were lost or stolen at one of my classes?

    That or accidently left behind?

I try to show "systems" as a professional courtesy to all the companies I represent here at Autogeek but now days anytime I need products I have to place an order just like a customer and while nothing wrong with that it's still another thing on my To Do List. After they came up missing I just show the Mille with the normal RUPES blue/green/yellow/white polishes and/or whatever else I'm or the class is using and it seems to work like I describe the FLEX BEAST. That is,

The Mille will turn and churn anything. Kind of like the Makita PO500C and the FLEX BEAST and CBEAST.

Gear-driven orbitals are not picky or finicky.
