The second day of class Mike covers how to do high quality production detailing. There's a specific reason production detailing is taught AFTER show car detailing and you'll learn why in the class.

Production detailing is the bread and butter of the detailing business because there is a larger population of people that want their daily driver washed and waxed as compared to the number of people that want a show car finish on a special toy. You'll learn how to do both styles in Mike's class and you'll learn how to reduce steps and time while maintaining pro-grade results.

    Topics covered

The order of steps and how to do each step

We did not block out any rooms at any hotels as I think that's only done for HUGE events.

I did post the below yesterday and it lists all the local hotels.

IMPORTANT INFO plus Hotels and Airports near Lake Country Pad Manufacturing in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin

Here's the one Yancy and I are staying at...

    Hotels

    Staybridge Suites Milwaukee West-Oconomowoc (closest)
    1141 Blue Ribbon Drive
    Oconomowoc, Wisconsin 53066
    262-200-2900

Note: The Staybridge Suits is the closest hotel to Lake Country's facilities. Dave Patterson told me it's literally directly across from Lake Country in the same business park. Yancy and I are flying in to the Mitchell International Airport and staying at the Staybridge Suits.

    ***Update***

Jesse aka Hllywd has offered us two of his personal cars for this class. I've accepted the 1967 GTO and will make the "Go" or "No Go" decision on the 1970 Monte Carlo after Yancy and I arrive to Wisconsin and have a chance to inspect the original paint.

    1967 GTO - Basecoat/Clearcoat paint system

1970 Monte Carlo - Original enamel paint

Going to look at the paint on the Monte Carlo and see if it would be a good teaching car for the #7 Rub Down Technique.

Will make decision after I see the car in person.

I hope it is a "Go"... as I will be attending, would like to learn this technique, and like the first generation Monte Carlos!
