Looking for a top tier glass sealant repellent.

I have the Griot's now and it just seem so so. I see a few that seem to get more consistent review's but the only one I've heard works the best is Wolf's Nano Glass and I can only buy it from Obsessed and no thanks! He's sniffing to much of his own products if thinks $22 for shipping is acceptable.

We use Aquapel. Seems to do ok.

I use Opti-Seal. Not the "best" in terms of the water beads rolling away, but it lasts a surprisingly long time. Longer than RainX anyway.

Saw that Gtechniq G1 have long durability in several reviews. So far, so good.

    Thanks Dlc,
I know you love your Opti-Seal! You cost me a few dollars on one to try it.lol It was 25% off and I also grabbed the WG

I just picked up the newest window kit from Kamikaze. Haven't used it yet, but based on Budget's words on it, I think it will be good.
Also recently noticed Soft99 glaco ultra fusso window coat, it looks like it could be really good as well.

Re: Looking for a top tier glass sealant repellent.

I’ve tried a few and one I would absolutely skip is Blackfire Glasspro. Tried it twice and it didn’t last long at all. Polished the glass with a Rupes Coarse Wool and then rewashed with Reset to make sure prep was as good as I could get. Didn’t last long and wasn’t impressive for very long either. Won’t try another PBMG glass sealant unless it has a ton of reviews.

Recently tried Gtechniq G1 and at 6 months it is doing well and still makes sure the windshield stays clean.

Another one that I liked and will likely go back to is Kamikaze Window Coat. It performs impressively with rain flying off with just 30-35 mph.

I have been trying this for a year or so. Seems to work pretty good. I don't know about their claim to the protection part of their sales pitch. Looks like they have some data to support it. The rain repelling part of this products works pretty good. It's easy to put on and wipe dry. Seems to last several months. I always top all my glass with Meg's D156. Meg's D 156 works good for me.

Angelwax(UK) H2go for a sealant. Soft99(Japanese) has a really good one to apparently called glaco or something. Gyeon quick view is suppose to be decent too but expensive IMO. Both glaco and quick view use similar build in applicators, almost like a stick of deodorant.

I’ve been using Gyeon Quick View on my wife’s car and it works well. Considering it was the easiest glass sealant to apply I’ve tried, pretty happy with it. Once the winter passes I’ll reapply.

How is the durability? I’ve looked at it but one test I saw it didn’t last long at all.
