Re: Carpro reset
Meguiar’s Hyper Wash is good too
I still use reset though , I m just faithful to the carpro brand and it is easy accessible to me.

I just did this myself! They work great for anything that's not viscous. Perfect for 3D super soap which is another high dilution shampoo. I bought the 32 oz ones and I like them much better than a hand pump on a gallon, more accurate and no drips.

Has anyone tried Reset on wheels? I'm curious if it has the cleaning power to handle wheels.

Depends on the car. It's my go-to for my personal vehicles. I have ceramic-coated wheels and don't use any dedicated wheel cleaner. I simply use Reset in my IK12 and or whatever is left in my bucket when I'm done with the rest of the car.
Now, on customer cars, I do use wheel specific cleaner.

Agree. It's still a car wash soap, just a little stronger than most.
If you are facing some fairly grimy wheels and especially a German car with their legendary brake dust, I be reaching for a dedicated wheel cleaner.

Yeah on maintained wheels any car soap will work.

Re: Carpro reset
Anyone ever find the SDS for reset? Having trouble locating it unfortunatly.
Looking into trying it out. Ive found the ph levels of both the soap i have and also reset but im going down a rabbit hole looking into % of each indivdual ingredients of current soap and trying to compare to reset. Just for my own knowledge. Probly useless info...which i generally find myself seeking.

You and me both. Useless info seeker here. I have not found a SDS for it, but I did come across a posted on Hydro2 Lite that made me think a bit:
"Hi Corey, as a product that can very easily get into waterways given its rinse off nature, are you concerned with the following hazard?: "Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects"
That's one thing we don't see discussed often. Which products are more ecofriendly and safe? I have a feeling some of Carpro products are not that good in that area.
Optimum and 3D seem to emphasize ecofriendly a bit more than the others.

Haha.
Very true, not much talk about it. Never tried Optimum products, but its one of the many reasons i like 3d products.
3d super pre soak, which i use...is ph8, and reset is ph7. Im curious to find what is in reset. Maybe ill try to email them at some point.
