    Re: Drying towels

I like the Gauntlet drying towels from The Rag Company and the Glacier 1100 drying towels from McKee’s 37. I just ordered a Griot’s Garage PFM drying towel during the Cyber Monday sale, so will be curious to try that out.

O !!!!!!!! no I started this post with the hope of saving
a little money. Now, I feel like I must try all of the suggested
towels. Welcome to the world of detailing. More than one way
to dry a car. And they are all right. Thanks, I think?

    No really, thanks

    Nope.

Just get the PFM's and be done with it, Jim.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

I have a bunch of the McKee Glacier 1100 and a bunch of the Griot's PFM, both in 16"x16" format. I find the PFM works just slightly better. I prefer the edgeless format of the Glacier vs the satin-edged PFM. But I really don't like that the Glacier has a blue side and a gray side that look exactly like my Cobra Buff & Shine rinseless towels. Didn't think that one through well enough. But you really can't go wrong with either towel.

I’m about to order a couple of drying towels. Trying to decide between 2 medium Guantlets or 1 med Guantlet and 1 med. Notorious Dry Towel

I, too, prefer the edgeless towels. Maybe Griot's will
make their PFM edgeless some day.

Those towels are outstanding. Just as good as the PFM. I already have a large 1 of them. They’re currently on sale on Autopia + 25% off.
