Actually you wanna mix it 4:1. I woulda gone with the #105+#601 combo as it adds a little cleaning ability but #111 is good stuff too.

Oh yea, now that you brought it up I remember I have 1 of those towels.
And lots of people seem to like that style of brush, I’ve got a knockoff set of brushes that are of that same shape and they’re cool for certain things.
But for me personally, my go to brushes and the ones I can honestly say I can’t fully perform a “detail” without are these brushes.
They’re simple yet unique in that no other brush can quite do what they do. I make sure to always have some brand new ones tucked away as spares just in case I can’t find them.
Those detail brushes are easily on my top 5 list of most valuable detailing tools/supplies.

I suggested #111 because it looked like he was already doing prep work to clean the paint. With #111 being a pure sealant I thought it made the most sense and when combined with #601, it's a solid pic

Update!
I worked my "half-day Saturday rotation" and then cleaned up my V70 and put some sealant on.
Step 1 Wash Car
Step 2 Dry
Step 3 Diluted IPA wipe down
Step 4 Dura gloss 111 and Dura gloss 601. 4:1 ratio.
Looks pretty good and it has some much needed protection.
Future plans... blackfire one step in the Spring!
Thanks for the help everyone, much appreciated.

Looks nice! Decided not to use the Iron Remover/clay?

Re: Paint Correction? or Just Seal and Wax?
Only time you want to do iron remover/clay is when you're ready to correct/polish paint.
If just doing a wash/wax, then just wash and wax!
BTW: Don't need to do IPA wipe down.
Only time you do a IPA or panel wipe down is when you're going to apply ceramic coating.

Paint Correction? or Just Seal and Wax?
I may have lost a potential customer. Brand new Miata, owner just wants a coat of wax on it. I can’t bring myself to do it without doing the full polish and paint decontamination before doing wax.
“I’ll get back to you.”
That always leads to them never getting back to me. But, I want to maximize the gloss and finish on the paint so that they get their moneys worth.
Maybe I am being stubborn. But also, maybe my rate scared them away. I don’t lower my prices for anyone. I’m too cheap as it is.
