What should I use to protect Polished Aluminum Rims?
These rims are one off rims without clear coat.
They were polished to chrome like results.
They also have vinyl inlays in spokes.
Owner would like them to be protected...
What is the best for polished aluminum rims?

Do you have the manufacturers information? If so, maybe you can aka them for more information on the manufacturing process which can help narrow down the cleaning a protecting process. If not, I would use the rear of the rim to test what you have on hand for the tasks.

•I’ve often used Collinite Metal Wax #850
for protection on polished aluminum items
without noticeably diminishing their overall
scintillation/shininess/brightness/etc.
Note:
-Collinite #850 has some Morpholine in it.
-I like Morpholine’s anti-corrosion property.

There is a product made specifically for this application but unfortunately AG doesn't sell it so ...
That said, a coating such as PBL Diamond Wheel Coating should work nicely.

Your presuppositions seem tenable.

Bob- your unmitigated audacity to use such terms as "Your presuppositions seem tenable" are, indeed profoundly enlightening.
Oh...... And that Collinite 850 be some good stuff!

From my understanding it is Ok to mention the products just no links or threads dedicated about the product.
Would a coating be Ok on bare polished aluminum?

Blackfire Metal Sealant works great on polished aluminum rims.
